The New Ross Guitar Festival, in association with Duncannonvillage.ie, is delighted to announce an exciting new addition to this year’s programme, an afternoon of guitarists busking on Wexford’s kilometre-long Duncannon Beach under the shadow of its 16th century Fort on Sunday July 20th 2.30 to 4.30 p.m.
Extending the Festival to the Hook Peninsula, musicians will have three
performing spaces on Duncannon beach
All genres of music will feature; classical, blues, bluegrass, trad, pop, rock and country. Adding atmosphere to the occasion on the Green will be the Duncannon Beach Market with loads of handcrafted gifts for sale. Visitors to the village are also well catered for with two pubs, two cafes, and a shop.
A rota of buskers is being selected by the organising committee.
The event is free to the general public.
